Posisi:

1. FP&A Senior Executiv

Job Description :

  • Analyse the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, and profit margin.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecasts.
  • Present the monthly financial reports of various business segment and departments.
  • Support the management team and department leaders with data-driven analysis.
  • Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives.
  • Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
  • Review finance peer’s work for completeness and compliance with accounting standard.
  • Assist annual statutory audit, inventory count & liaise with external auditors on all audit matters.
  • Assist in tax audit, CITR review, document collection for audit, etc.
  • Assist in review of the finance standard operating procedure, internal accounting policy and internal control processes.
  • Ad-hoc business performance reporting.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience and have general knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
  • Proficient in English both written and spoken.
  • Strong Excel skills + SAP skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.

2. Accountant (Project Costing)

Job Description :

  • Maintain costing ledgers for jobs undertaken by the company (e.g. Update project record book upon receiving job activity, billing and etc)
  • Project Costing handling.
  • Execute plan cost upload and convert to budget for project upon receiving request from Commercial Dept.
  • Liaise and follow up with the Commercial Dept for project matters.
  • Prepare costing audit schedule.
  • Monitor of the warranty provision and it’s utilization.
  • Monitor and liaise with Commercial Dept-SB on the Interco PO matter.
  • Maintain and schedule to transfer revenue project to TECO and CLOSED status. (as part of the administrative process to tighten the project’s status).
  • Prepare costing journal/ allocation expenses.
  • Ensure all POC % update, plan cost and sales order are cut-off within timeframe given.
  • Consolidate group project monthly performance meeting report. Ensure projects revenue and costs are properly accounted for in Profit and Loss Account.
  • Prepare monthly shipyard performance report.
  • Generate RA and proceed to do RA settlement posting upon final checking by Accounts Officer (Costing).
  • To handle external audit issues.
  • Ad-hoc assignment as assigned.
  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Accountancy/CPA/ACCA
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS office, especially in MS Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel (internal and external).
  • Pro-active, independent and meticulous with attention to details and figures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills to drive execution, policy compliance and adherence to procedures.
  • Practical and hand-on person who is capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge in the application of financial reporting standard (“FRS”).
  • Liaise with external auditors on accounting and financial matters.

3. Commercial Executive/Senior Executive

Job Description :

  • Monitor and ensure the scopes of works are based on Commercial term offered during project.
  • Liaise with other internal department and with customers to ensure that the material or requirement meet with the specification and quotation.
  • Attend customer’s inquiries and Prepare Quotation & cost estimation.
  • Follow up with the owners on the tendering stage.
  • Support Commercial Manager to achieved monthly revenue target.
  • Able to understand for tendering, following up the Modules costing and billing to various clients.
  • Attend customer’s complaints and resolve conflict on contractual matters with customers.
  • Quote for work prices & invoice customers
  • Source qualified subcontractor/vendor to undertake the specific works that the yard unable to perform and ensure a fair chance given to all subcontractors or vendor.
  • Negotiate with subcontractor/vendor for competitive price and ensure the price complied with Yard standard rate.
  • Evaluate and monitoring the performance of subcontractor or vendor and monitor and evaluate the cost for the ongoing project.
  • Other assignment/project assign which is assigned by the company
  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

Qualifications :

  • Possess a degree or diploma Naval Architectures, Mechanical engineering, Marine engineering or its equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in shipyard/offshore fabrication for module project.
  • Able to read, comprehend and review of engineering/constructions drawings.
  • Good working attitude, problem-solving skills and Negotiation skills, financial knowledge.
  • Technical knowledge of ship building process and vessel specification.
  • Understanding of Commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ability to communicate/write in English and Indonesian language.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to work in Batam.

4. Project Manager (Ship Repair & Newbuilding)

Job Description :

Task :

  • Manage the ship building/ repair/stacking/lap up activities for assigned projects.
  • Monitor & manage the activities of the project managers/assigned projects
  • Monitor & liaise with various vendors for equipment & coordinate with commissioning teams

Responsibilities :

  • For managing all activities and progress related to the projects assigned.
  • Read, understand & interpret the contract, technical specifications and drawings of the projects assigned.
  • Monitor the progress of all projects under his responsibility on daily/weekly basis as applicable.
  • Liaise with the trade managers/sub-con reps effectively to coordinate & achieve the project schedule effectively.
  • Monitor closely the commercial aspects of all projects under him to ensure that the budgeted costs are maintained at all times
  • Coordinate & liaise with the Owner reps, vendors & Class for smooth completion of equipment & system commissioning.
  • Coordinate weekly production review meeting through the respective trade managers along with the Owner’s reps to bring out the pending issues for resolving amicably when needed.
  • Ensure safe working environment on all projects assigned.
  • Provide coverage for the Shipbuilding Manager during periods of absence, overseeing daily operations and ensuring project progress is maintained

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in ship repair or newbuilding or conversion.
  • Diploma/Degree in Naval Arch. or Marine Engineering or Equivalent.
  • Good spoken & written English and knowledge on Bahasa Indonesia/Malay is preferable.
  • Computer literate in word, excel, project & Auto Cad.
  • Sound knowledge of technical terminology particularly that used in a marine environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & leadership skill.
  • Working experience in costing, budget, work break down structure, planning, forecasting, scheduling, progress management, reporting, etc.

5. Asst. Planner / Planner (Ship Repair, Newbuilding & Green Recycling)

Job Description 

Tasks :

  • Develop schedules and project plans based on project and technical specifications.
  • Develop and monitor progress measurement systems for awarded or ongoing projects.
  • Prepare and update periodic progress reports.
  • Perform any ad-hoc assignments related to Planning and Control matters as assigned by direct reports.

Responsibilities :

  • Assisting Planning Manager on the planning and scheduling on tender query of PaxOcean integrated business of Ship Building, Ship Repair, Conversion and Green Recyling.
  • Prepare and recording yard level resources plan.
  • Prepare and recording overall resource plan on the project execution.
  • Monitor all the engineering drawings, procurement/purchasing, construction, commissioning plans to ensure that the planned progress is implemented for his/her assigned project.
  • Work together and maintain proactive communication with Project Managers, Trades lead, Commercial section, Construction/Production, in matter of planning, scheduling and monitoring.
  • To raise the planning or scheduling issue of risk of delays earliest as possible, and pro-actively collaborate with stakeholder to overcome.
  • Comply with Safety Rules and Regulations in accordance with the yard’s Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a shipyard environment.
  • Good spoken and written English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project/P6, and AutoCAD.
  • Sound knowledge of technical terminology, particularly in the marine industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate MS Project or Primavera/P6 is preferred.

6. HSE Manager

Job Description :

  • Develops, implements and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local rules and regulations as they apply to the organization’s operations.
  • Assist in the achievement of meeting company HSE goals and initiatives,
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Ensure Management of Change for all changes in the organization.
  • Perform surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings, recommendations for corrective & preventative measures, and follow up on task completion.
  • Identify, develop, recommend best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks. raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
  • Coordinate with HR on compliance with Training requirements.
  • Ensure workforce competencies are maintained relevant to their duties and roles.
  • Develop, implement and maintain employee training programs as indicated by regulatory guidelines.
  • Actively Participate in Business, Contract, and Safety Meetings.
  • Establish Reporting & Recording to gather incident data.
  • Ensure timely reporting of HSE parameters to relevant stakeholders
  • Analyze Incident data and Identify trends
  • Recommend actions to avoid Incidents across the organization.
  • Develop and implement efficient operations emergency response plans
  • Coordinates and manage internal / external audits (K3 Regulatory, ISO45K, ISO 14K)

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably Shipyard, Marine and Oil & Gas industry
  • Valid AK3U Kemnaker (Republic of Indonesia) and ISO Lead Auditor
  • Fluent in English (Verbal & Written)

7. Purchasing Manager Kuok (Singapore) Limited – Purchasing Manager (based in Batam)

  1. The role carries responsibility for the yard’s procurement and supply chain for the shipyards in Batam. The position will e responsible for planning, directing and managing procurement and supply chain activities across the shipyards covering materials, services, equipment, and consumables.

Job Description :

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the Group and shipyards’ goals, budget, and project requirements. This involves setting and managing performance targets, including cost-saving opportunities and supply chain risks.
  • Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, or quality issues. Develop contingency plans to address these risks.
  • Lead the procurement team in collaboration with various departments within the shipyards, including engineering, production, and project management, to support their operational requirements.
  • Manage procurement processes to ensure spent are within budget. Seek effective solutions which may involve negotiations, opportunities for bulk purchasing agreements, framework agreements, logistics optimization, or new sourcing strategies.
  • Work with the Procurement team in identifying and evaluating current/potential vendors. Participate in negotiations with key vendors.
  • Responsible for vendor performance management to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that purchases meet the shipyards’ quality and safety standards. This involves conducting inspections and audits when necessary.
  • Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
  • Establish and execute yard procurement procedures in alignment with PaxOcean Group policies and guidelines.
  • Consider sustainable and environmentally friendly procurement practices, such as sourcing eco-friendly materials and minimizing waste.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ /Marine/ Engineering or equivalent certifications.
  • Minimum 5 – 8 years in a similar management position in the marine/offshore industry with strategic sourcing and vendor performance management exposure.
  • Good conversant in English
  • Experience in managing procurement processes using SAP.

8. Contract Manager/Assistant Manager

Job Description :

  • Support Project Managers on all aspects of contract management over the entire project lifecycle – involvement starts from contract negotiation during the tender stage to contract administration during execution / performance and eventually completion and payment.
  • Monitor contract performance against contractual obligations, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and managing change requests and disputes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with Project Manager to track project milestones, payment stages, verify claims, VOs and prepare potential Change Orders to Client from a contractual perspective.
  • Anticipate any likely issues (e.g. delays) or disputes that may arise in the project and discuss with Legal to work out appropriate strategy to resolve or mitigate the impact of such issues / disputes. Manage contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution.
  • Support the procurement and subcontracting teams with compliance of key flow downs and critical terms from the main contract. Where required support the development of frame agreements for strategic suppliers / subcontractors for better pricing and delivery lead times.
  • Providing guidance and training to project teams on contract management processes and procedures.
  • Organize and conduct contract familiarization workshops for the entire PMT to ensure all members are aligned on the Project’s contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Proactively engage in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
  • Enforce governance of internal processes to identify potential challenges or problems before they occur during projects execution; contracts administration, cost management etc.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years in similar contract management position in shipping/marine industry, preferably familiar with offshore oil and gas industry. Experience with working in Indonesia a plus.
  • Familiar with what the project entails e.g. VO, notice periods, cost management including subcontractors.
  • Fluent in reading and writing in Bahasa Indonesia and English

Job Description :

  • To evaluate the project scope and carry out assessment
  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with international construction codes and class specifications
  • Ensure work in carried out as per work to permit system and with proper hazard /risk analyses
  • Compliance to production schedule for repair and new construction project.
  • Ensure quality inspections are carried out with Internal and external qc as per inspection plan and liaise on quality matters with QA Department.
  • Assist in logistic /spares / materials and stores.
  • Coordinating with owner’s representative and classification authority.
  • Ensure Projects are delivered as per owner satisfaction without LTI
  • Train Department engineer on projects works scope execution and management

  • Manhours estimate as per agreed tariff and submit for project supervision review.

Qualifications :

  • Min Diploma in Shipyard/Marine/offshore/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Preparator in shipyard/Marine/Offshore company.

11. Hull & Outfitting Engineer

Job Description :

  • To follow the Safety Rules and Regulation set refer to Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.
  • Comply with manager, supervisors, Designer and Owner instructions and perform to achieve quality work.
  • Provide drawing with calculation for lifting plan, docking plan, launching & upslip plan as requested in new building, repair & conversion project at 3 yards (NMS, GTI & DWP).
  • Provide support to NMS modules as and when required.
  • Provide support on green recycling project for cutting plan, lifting plan, upslip plan as and when requested.
  • Provide structure analysis as requested for new building, repair & conversion project.
  • To check & troubleshoot in case have issue on site during progress of the project.
  • Review and checking design drawing to suit customer satisfaction and classification society.
  • Perform detail design/drafting of ship structure and outfitting for new shipbuilding and repairs/conversions
  • To achieve KPI engineering department.

Qualifications :

  • Graduate in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or similar.
  • Computer proficient AutoCAD, Aveva Marine, Femap, Staad Pro
  • Able to speak and write in English.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering Offshore & Shipbuilding
  • Familiar with AutoCad, Aveva Marine software, Femap, Staad Pro

12. Dimensional Control Inspector

Job Description :

  • Able to ensure all HSE and Quality aspect are met. Responsible on safety and environment.
  • Prepare dimensional drawing and checklist for each block/item for every project.
  • Conduct dimensional inspection upon request from the on-site team utilizing specialized equipment such as total station, auto level and laser.
  • Ensure all inspected items comply with the stablished quality and technical standard.
  • Maintain dimensional survey equipment and proper documentation of dimensional control reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate report detailing the result of the dimension inspection.

Qualifications :

  • Min 2-3 years experiences as Dimension Surveyor (civil or shipyard).
  • Experienced in using AutoCAD, Rhinoceros and Total Station operation (SOKKIA, LEICA).
  • Candidate must process at least SMA/SMK, surveyor training of certification will be advantages.
  • Able to use various surveying equipment’s’ such as electronics total station (Sokkia, Leica), auto level machine, laser level, etc.
  • Familiar with the AutoCAD program.
  • Knowledge of relevant math and process three-dimensional conceptual skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skill in Indonesia and English.

13. Dimensional Control Supervisor/Senior Supervisor

Job Description :

  • Able to ensure all HSE and Quality aspect are met. Responsible on safety and environment.
  • Prepare dimensional drawing and checklist for each block/item for every project.
  • Develop strategies, work plans, and performance evaluations for the Dimension Control (DC) team.
  • Monitor and take full responsibility for all activities related to dimensional inspections and DC results.
  • Supervise and ensure the proper implementation of dimension control procedures.
  • Ensure all inspected items comply with the established quality and technical standard.
  • Conduct dimensional inspection upon request from the on-site team utilizing specialized equipment such as total station, auto level, and laser.
  • Analyse and endorse dimension control reports, assist related departments & discuss proper remedial action in case out of tolerance.
  • Maintain dimensional survey equipment and proper documentation of dimensional control reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate report detailing the results of the dimension inspection.

Qualifications :

  • Min 3–5 years experiences as dimension surveyor (civil or shipyard).
