 Manager Government Relations (Regulatory Affairs) - Jakarta
  • We are looking for a Manager Government Relations (Regulatory Affairs) with the following details:
  • The Role
  • As a Manager Government Relations (Regulatory Affairs) at Sampoerna you will involve in develop, coordinate and implement comprehensive regulatory strategies that drive stability, predictability and business growth while limiting exposure to potential business risks through adverse regulatory proposals and initiatives.
  • This includes coordinating with other member of the External Affairs function to monitor and manage the relative and ongoing related regulations in Indonesia, as well as local / regional regulations.
  • This position also monitors political environment, anticipate legal and political changes, develop position papers reflecting company’s positions / recommendations on issues relevant to the business environment of the company, and maintain constructive relations with decision makers and opinion leaders.


  • In charge of a regulatory team that develop and maintains an early warning system to track, gather and monitor information / issues / trends on legislative initiatives regarding tobacco and other regulatory related to the business to keep management informed and updated.
  • Analyzes, interprets and extracts / predicts implications of current and future regulatory issues / legislative developments and provides strategic and tactical regulatory recommendations inclusive of preparing and conveying company’s positions and recommendations to ensure business stability and sustainability.
  • Develops and oversees policies and standard operation procedures regarding regulatory strategies; creates working instructions and control systems, provides implementation guidelines and communication materials for internal stakeholders, and leads the implementation of policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance and their implementation within Sampoerna.
  • Works with other members of the Department to develop and implement a comprehensive regulatory framework and initiates plans and actions to advocate for such framework. This includes mapping and coordinating with a wide variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to: relevant government ministries, relevant commission (DPR), business and industry associations.
  • Work with other External Affairs functions to build a better understanding of regulatory goals and how to implement them at the national, regional and local levels.
  • Work with Communications function to disseminate regulatory goals throughout the Sampoerna organization and also to relevant 3rd party stakeholders.
  • Manage consultants to ensure the achievement of business and regulatory objectives.
  • Oversees the establishment and maintenance of physical and electronic database of relevant regulatory issues, in order to provide reference and benchmarking materials for current and future operation of cigarette industry.

Skills & Experiences

  • Minimum 5 years of External Affairs / Public Affairs related experience. Experience in highly regulated industry or a government / political position and regulatory specifically will be as plus points.
  • Ability to view strategically and to work with and provide guidance to business on broad array of Regional / local regulatory and fiscal issues.
  • Ability to manage long-term Regulatory objectives while equipping a diverse team to handle immediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to effectively deliver key messages and positions to external audiences and engage and build relationships with key stakeholders

  • We are looking for Cloud Engineer with the following details:
  • The Team
  • Cloud operations team encompass the process of managing and delivering cloud services and infrastructure to either an internal or an external user base. This involves ensuring peak performance and maintaining availability in order to satisfy the needs and expectations of customers and meet service level agreement standards. Team is operating in follow-the-sun (24 x 7) model around the globe (Europe, Asia, Latin America), to ensure the reliability of PMI cloud services across all product lines in tight coordination with Cybersecurity and Solution and Infrastructure Architect teams.
  • The Role
  • As part of the Cloud Operations team you will provide break and fix to ensure the infrastructure on top of cloud services is up and running, working together with application support team to deploy infrastructure and troubleshoot related issue as well as participating in architecture / technology review, moreover security compliant is a must which need to be remediated to align with PMI security standard.

  • Design, Implement and Manage PMI public Cloud Infrastructure based on AWS solution
  • Provide break / fix support for the cloud environment
  • Develop and execute test cases for cloud environment
  • Actively participate to review and design Architecture and find the best solution based on the requirements
  • Remediate all the security issues based on PMI security standard
  • Design, implement and manage IT processes for the cloud environment support

Skills & Experience

AWS Cloud Migration Architect - Jakarta

Your Day to Day

  • Govern technical designs for the applications moving to a public cloud by applying PMI and industry architectural standards

  • Support the teams in taking the best for PMI decisions while migrating Applications to AWS cloud between Re-host, Re-platform and Re-factor migration strategies

Who We’re Looking For

  • Practical experience in designing cloud native application architectures
  • Extensive experience of deploying technology solutions across cloud-native platforms, predominantly in Amazon Web Services
  • Strong development skills with one or more programming / scripting languages (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge and experience of DevSecOps Practices and Tools
  • Excellent skills and experience in the deployment and management of application, and their configuration, through some of the following: Ansible, Python, Javascript and Terraform

  • The Role
  • Part of a highly dynamic Website Factory team, who works as a highly agile, self-organized product team. Main job of the role is delivering functionalities and backlogs as part of a working product, which will be released every sprint. Roles / responsibilities include but not limited to : Deployment / maintenance of AWS services, Development / Testing / Deployment of web functionalities, Process / System improvements.

  • Develop, test and deploy functionalities as per requirements prioritized by the Product Owner or stakeholders, on a 2-weeks sprint basis.
  • Research, evaluate, and develop PMI Website Factory capabilities to improve architecture front-end, back-end solutions and architecture solutions.
  • Handle production support issues as they arise.

  • Additional knowledge in SiteFinity and Project Management would be an asset.
  • Prior experience in GIT, Unit Testing, SQL queries, Linux, software engineering is preferred.
